Leather Windswept – angled magnetic knife block with leather front in several finishes

Windswept with leather front combines the classic, angled knife block in solid oak or walnut with a front covered in Italian Tuscan Vacchetta leather. The slim, fully magnetic knife block stores and presents your knives at a 22.5 degree angle. The magnets are invisibly encased in the wood and arranged in multiple rows, ensuring optimal adhesion with multiple contact points on the knife blade. This prevents your knives from "spinning" around and being attracted to each other. The soft, high-quality leather on the front protects your knife blades gently and effectively. The leather provides a discreet suction effect that keeps the knives securely in place while protecting them from wear and scratches - a solution that is both functional and beautiful to look at. The raw leather edge is finished by sanding it completely flush with the wooden edge of the block. About the leather Tuscan Vacchetta leather is a high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, originally from Tuscany, Italy. It is made from untreated cowhides and tanned with natural extracts from plants such as chestnut and mimosa. The leather is known for its rich, smooth surface, warm colour tones and ability to develop a beautiful patina over time.
