'Veloura' blouse – linen blend, lace hem

The “Veloura” blouse is cut wide and straight and falls below the hip. It gives plenty of room at the bust and shoulders. A button placket closes the front, and two patch pockets sit on the chest. The collar tapers to a point, with an additional yoke over the shoulder. The sleeves end at mid-forearm. The lower third is made of openwork lace, as are the cuffs and pocket flaps. This breaks up the solid black area and turns a simple shirt-blouse into a piece that also works for evening wear.
