Teaninich 12 Year Old, Amontillado Finish 54.3%

This Highland malt from the Teaninich distillery was distilled 2011 and bottled 2023 at 12 years old. The combination of aging in an American oak hogshead followed by a finishing period of 12 months in an Amontillado sherry cask imparts a complex array of flavours to the whisky. With its cask strength bottling, this Teaninich malt offers an intense and robust tasting experience. This is a limited release of just 247 bottles, Auld Goonsy says : This is like a walk alongside the harbour, taking in the air of different aromas mixed with salty sea spray.
