Yemen Sharqi Haraz Anaerobic Reserve Release We’re proud to release this anaerobic natural coffee from the Sharqi Haraz region of Yemen as part of our Reserve Collection. Produced by smallholder members of the Sharqi Haraz Cooperative, this microlot comes from one of coffee’s most historically significant and least accessible origins. Coffees from Yemen are exceptionally rare, and lots of this quality and complexity are even more uncommon. While Yemeni coffees are traditionally processed as naturals, this lot underwent an anaerobic fermentation before being dried slowly in whole cherry. The result is a cup that is both dense and effervescent, offering remarkable depth without sacrificing clarity. The flavor profile is expansive and layered, with complex notes of strawberry jam, champagne, fig, and spices. The cup evolves continuously, revealing new facets with each sip. An ambitious coffee for explorative palates, this release represents a rare convergence of heritage, innovation, and complexity — and a standout within our Reserve Collection.
