A delicate and decadent dessert, kanafeh layers crisp, golden strands of kataifi with a luscious, creamy center featuring Mia Ricotta. Kanafeh receives its final touch after baking, when the lightly fragrant syrup is poured on to saturate through the layers of crispy dough and lush cream. A special part of my heritage, kanafeh is served during the most joyous occasions, and is always a main feature of the upcoming Jewish holiday of Shavuot.
