This dried flower is produced mainly in Indonesia and is used in all the world cuisines. In Asia, Middle East and Africa cloves tend to be used in savory dishes and in Europe and America cloves are used in spicing up ham, breads and sweets. Cloves are also used medicinally to assist digestion and as a painkiller for a sore tooth.
