Troublesome Tina LE-20 FCM Volo by Ashley Palmer & Matt Samuels TS26
Join us for a fun walk down memory lane with the continuing Stone Tribute Series! 2026 celebrates 30 years of Stone Horses and The Peter Stone Company, and boy, do we have some fun surprises for you to reminisce over. Stone has produced some iconic pieces over the decades, and we are having so much fun honoring a selection of those early pieces by revisiting them in new ways. We’re not exactly reproducing these gorgeous pieces, but rather drawing inspiration from them to create new pieces from our sculpture lineup and current production processes. Think of them as cover songs—in homage to the original. Our April tribute in 2026 is recognizing Dirty Sally, a 2007 run on the Palouse sculpture. The extreme run was innovative and creative with Palouse getting customizations such as pinned ears, a tucked head and neck, a braided mane, and a custom tail. She was painted a taffy dun. Troublesome Tina is our realistic tribute for this month. She is a beautifully painted grulla mare. She features dynamic shading throughout her body with extra rich shading on her face. Her grumpy expression and well shaded body are nods to Dirty Sally. She is available in all finish options.
