CASTEL Albert "Les Tapisseries"

A beautifully bound book from the Bibliothèque des Merveilles collection by Librairie Hachette et Cie, Paris, 1876. It features gold-stamped plates and a smooth spine with decorative elements, including a sphinx and a winged figure on the first plate, and scientific instruments on the second. The book measures 12 x 18 cm and has red edges. It includes a preface and 316 pages with 22 woodcut illustrations by Paul Sellier.

• The book has some scattered browning but is considered a fine example despite noted defects.
