Nordiska 1950s Starlings
A personal favourite 1950s pattern from Nordiska here: printed on several colours as a first collection before we decide on which backing linen to use. There is one kit for most of the listings: Eggshell Blue = 3 kits available. Included in this kit: 100% linen panel, 50 x 50 cm or larger Teal, Original Red and Luxury Blue linen are larger: 50 x 60 or more. 11 colours of linen thread and a chenille needle An archive poster in A4 with a stitch card on the reverse A card with a brief history of the pattern origins. The pattern measures circa 39 x 21 cm Lots of fun stitches are noted for this pattern: Satin stitch, stem stitch, split stitch, lazy daisy, y stitch, couching stitch, twisted chain stitch, long and short stitch, cross stitch and French knots. The poster is a facsimile of the 1950’s instructional sheet, with a detailed drawing showing the colours and stitches used in the 60’s.
