Gut Oggau - Maskerade White

Maskerade White is a natural wine crafted by Gut Oggau, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This white wine is made with a Field Blend of grapes, known in Germany and Austria as Gemischter Satz, which is when multiple varieties are planted in one plot. This lovely white, which is a Non Vintage blend (N.V) features notes of bruised apple, cinnamon, white plum and vanilla essence. It comes with a soft grip on the palate and is refreshing and very delicious indeed! EXCEPTIONAL quality for the low price! The Maskerade range was originally made to showcase vineyard at the start of their holistic conversion, but nowadays are fully converted but can sometimes feature trickier fermentations and sometimes a tiny amount of residual sugar, which with their no sulphur approach can occasionally start to referment, which is why the bottles are sealed with caps and not corks, which would push out. This current NV Maskerade does not feature any noticeable residual sugar in a way it would be deemed as sweet and is very tasty indeed.
