The Mole is a wonderful Angel Pelargonium that produces an abundance of flowers with pale lavender lower petals with deep wine red upper petals and dark red vining. This variety proved very popular on our display at RHS Malvern Spring Festival where we were awarded a Silver Gilt medal. Angel Pelargoniums are very small leaved varieties of Pelargoniums that produce an abundance of flowers and have a tight bushy habit. Their history can be traced back to some early version around 1825 but modern types were first raised around the 1930s. These Pelargonium plants look great in hanging baskets if they are allowed to trail but they are often trained to become upright bushy plants. The abundance of flowers make a very impactful display wherever they are planted. We have a range of different Angel Pelargoniums in our collection and offer a selection of these available for you to buy. These plants are supplied in a 6cm biodegradable pot which you can put straight into the pot or location you wish. As time goes on the pot will simply compost down and the plant will happily grow on. Position: Sunny Hardiness: Requires protection from frost Growing media: A loam based compost or a good quality multipurpose compost. Growth/Shape: Fast growing, bushy (40cm x 50cm) w x h Flowering period: Apr - Sept How to care for your plant: Remove dead flowers regularly and feed once a week with a high potash feed (a good tomato feed will do it!) to encourage a better & longer flowering season. Water well, then allow compost to dry before watering again.
