Mosaic Kentucky Mug

What has become an iconic part of our studio & store has now inspired a new mug. Since we opened in 2015, the large Kentucky Mosaic Mural in our studio has caught the attention of many. Although we have made smaller versions of the mural for purchase, we have felt pulled to try to create actual pottery with this design on it. After many, many test pieces, we finally landed on a design. The Mosaic Kentucky Mugs are made of our standard stoneware, coated in black glaze. The Kentucky is a stamped white clay that is decorated with 8 different glazes to create the look and feel of a mosaic piece. Each has a similar, yet different mosaic pattern to it, with a unique combination of the same 6 colors. These mugs are dishwasher & microwave safe, and will hold about 14 oz. Please note that the size of the item and the exact look of the glaze will vary slightly from the photographed shown. This is part of the handmade process and makes each piece truly unique. If uniformity is important to you, we suggest you order all items intending to be matched at the same time. Holds 12-14 oz.
