Ultrafiltration System

Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) are both membrane-based, pressure-driven separation processes. UF utilizes a filter media composed of UF membranes, available in configurations such as flat type, tubular type, and hollow fiber type. The UF process operates based on the size of its pores, which range between 0.001 to 0.1 micrometers, fitting between the pore sizes of RO and Microfiltration (MF). This pore size range enables UF to effectively separate substances at a molecular level, making it suitable for various applications including water treatment and purification.
