When used beneath floor coverings such as vinyl, carpet or timber, Warmup states that the StickyMat should be embedded within 10mm of self-levelling compound before the finished floor is installed. The floor covering manufacturer should always confirm compatibility with electric underfloor heating. For tiled applications, the heating mat can be incorporated within suitable tile adhesive or an appropriate levelling compound according to the installation requirements.
