Lyre's Poison Apple Sour

A crisp, autumnal sour combining apple, warming cinnamon and the rich character of Lyre’s Bourbon Alternative. Ingredients 2 oz Lyre’s Bourbon Alternative 1.5 oz apple cider 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice 0.5 oz cinnamon syrup Cinnamon Syrup ½ cup sugar ½ cup water 2 cinnamon sticks To Make the Raspberry Syrup Combine the sugar, water and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan. Warm gently, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow the cinnamon to steep as the syrup cools. Remove the cinnamon sticks before using. Method Add to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Glass Rocks glass Garnish Thin apple slice or apple fan with a light dusting of cinnamon
