The front jaw has a 1/8" lip that registers against the front of your bench, and oblong screw holes so you can clamp tapered work. The jaws are milled on all four sides, ready to sand or plane.FinishingUse a penetrating oil and skip film finishes like lacquer, shellac or water-based poly. Then wax the screw threads with a silicone-free paste wax so they spin freely. Some folks line the rear jaw with thin cork or leather for extra grip.Instructions: Standard (PDF) · Lite (PDF) · Video: using the Moxon vise
