Down Vest Denim brings Japanese denim to Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s signature Down Vest. Based on the brand’s 1970s archives, it combines the character of denim with the warmth of down. The 100% cotton shell features an Indigo Used Wash finish, giving it the faded appearance of vintage clothing. The denim continues to develop character with wear. A one-piece cattle leather yoke defines the shoulders, contrasting with the denim’s texture. Inside, a smooth 70-denier nylon taffeta lining provides a comfortable feel. The vest is filled with 700-fill-power European water-repellent down. The treatment applied to the down helps reduce the loss of insulating performance when damp, delivering warmth without unnecessary weight.
