Medium Fresh White Truffle
Go medium if you don't want to tip the scales too much. My scientific name is Tuber Magnatum Pico I am a wild mushroom. Unlike other mushrooms I grow underground. What they say about my look: " It has a globular shape with many depressions on the rind that make it irregular. The outer surface is smooth and slightly velvety. The color varies from pale to dark cream to greenish. Its meat or glebe is unmistakable and is white or greyish yellow with thin white veins. Its pleasantly aromatic scent is different from the other truffles and makes it unique". Everyone knows I love eggs. So if you want to taste me at my best, just slice me over scrambled eggs or soft-boiled eggs. I don't like being overwhelmed by stronger flavors, so I don't like hot spicy, acidic ingredients, or strong spices. I'm not picky, I'm just simple. Another tip I give you is not to cook me because I lose my aroma. I love warmth but not fire. INSTRUCTIONS: Upon arrival: Be aware that it is typical for your truffles to have some condensation upon arrival. This happens because the truffle releases moisture, which gets captured in the paper wrapping. This moisture actually helps to maintain the truffle's freshness and stops it from becoming dry during shipping. After you receive your truffles, we advise consuming them soon after their arrival. Conservation methods: Fresh Truffles are best eaten as soon as possible. When you receive your truffles, we suggest you immediately wrap them individually in kitchen paper and place in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator until use. Please don’t keep them for more than one week!
