It features a white lacquered dial (not porcelain, reported on the Mondani Daytona book), part of the series with the notable “inverted 6” – where the numeral 6 on the 12-hour chronograph sub-dial is not radially flipped, thus appearing as a 9 when worn on the wrist. The bezel still displays the 400 units per hour scale, but in this updated version, it features the 240 marking instead of the earlier 250 and 225. This configuration is highly sought after by collectors, both for its transitional technical details and the visual elegance of the lacquered dial, which mimics porcelain but is distinct in material.
