You’ll learn to break down complex manoeuvres, spot and correct errors quickly, and deliver clear, adaptable instruction that keeps students motivated and safe. Key focus areas include: Building logical lesson plans and progressive teaching sequences Managing groups safely and efficiently on dynamic water Assessing performance accurately against Paddle Canada standards Giving precise, constructive feedback that accelerates learning Handling real-world coastal challenges (wind, waves, tides, and rock gardening) while running engaging, risk-aware sessions By the end, you’ll be fully prepared to run professional Level-2 courses and certify paddlers independently.
