In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll walk through the basics of garment, quilt, and accessory patterns, breaking down the terms, symbols, markings, and layouts you’ll encounter along the way. Together, we’ll take the mystery out of sewing patterns so you can feel more confident choosing, understanding, and getting started on your next favorite project. Mallory will have sample patterns to read over, students can also bring a copy of a sewing pattern that they hope to work on soon and we can review the details specific to that pattern. Ages 18+ Skill Level: True Beginner No skills needed! These are great classes for beginners with no previous experience or for those who’d like to refresh their skills.
