Vintage Italian Brass Peacock Chamberstick Candle Holder Made in Italy

Vintage Italian Peacock Chamberstick Candle Holder Ornate vintage chamberstick candlestick featuring a sculptural peacock/phoenix-style bird, decorative feathered tray, floral detailing, raised candle socket and an elongated decorated handle. The underside of the handle is clearly stamped “MADE IN ITALY.” The elaborate cast design and aged gold/brass finish give it a beautiful Old World Italian look, while the dramatic bird form makes it especially attractive as a decorative accent. Designed to hold a single taper candle. Similar Italian examples are generally attributed to the mid-20th century, particularly the 1960s. Vintage condition with visible age-related patina, oxidation/tarnish, surface wear, scratches and areas of finish loss throughout. I have intentionally left the aged finish intact rather than heavily polishing it. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the condition description.
