Variety in practice is not a luxury: shoot at the same face forever and eventually you are only training boredom. Mind the size A face should fill the target. For targets up to 60 x 60 centimetres the 40 cm version is right; for larger targets and for anyone shooting longer distances, take the 60 cm version. Neither version mixes sizes – deliberately, because an undersized face leaves half the target unused and wears the centre out twice as fast.
