VINTAGE 1960’s TANK CASE AUTOMATIC CALENDAR WATCH BY PIERRE RONCHIE. This beautiful square-cased automatic calendar watch was manufactured in the 1960’s by the Swiss maker Pierre Ronchie. Very much in the style of Cartier and their tank watches. The gold plated case measuring 25mm across the bezel not including the crown and 29mm tip-to-tip. With the original finish, polished bezel and lugs with brushed satin sides, the case is in flawless condition, with it’s original Cabachon-set winding crown. The original brushed gold dial is in exceptional condition, with contrasting black Roman neumerals, again very much inspired by Cartier, with Swiss-made under six. The automatic movement with calendar is in very, very good condition. Running very well, winding and setting as it should. A very nice quality, stylish 1960’s wrist watch. We have fitted a new, high quality alligator-grain strap.
