She began her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1968 and became a Registered Nurse in 1986, working in various acute care settings. From 1986 to 1998, Susan specialized in Nurse Case Management and earned her California Life and Health Insurance License, which she held until 2020. She is a Nationally Certified Nurse Case Manager, a credential she will maintain until 2026. As the Director of the Chronic Disease Management Program for a large multi-employer Trust Fund from 1998 to 2022, Susan focused on enhancing the health outcomes of participants through effective program management. Leslie Nelson, LVN, licensed vocational nurse brings five decades of practical experience in nurse case management, surgical nursing, floor nursing, and international practice in Saudi Arabia. She also has 21 years as a childbirth educator, committed to sharing clinical knowledge and real-world experience in the classroom.
