Obeytouch 49″ Custom Landscape Outdoor Kiosk (IP66)

Built to order in native landscape, the Obeytouch OBT490PTK-D-IP66-LS is a 49-inch custom outdoor kiosk for sites where the content is 16:9 — menu boards, timetables and drive-through ordering — and a rotated portrait screen simply will not do. Rated for 50,000 hours, the 49-inch screen delivers 1000–3000 nit and never washes out, because brightness tracks the light around it. At 49 inches it carries enough screen area for split-screen content — a live information panel beside advertising — without dominating the location. Most outdoor kiosks are portrait displays turned on their side, which forces 16:9 content into letterboxing and leaves visible black bars. The OBT490PTK-D-IP66-LS is engineered landscape-first: the 49-inch panel sits in its native orientation inside a 148.5 mm-deep aluminium enclosure on a dedicated floor stand, so widescreen video, menu layouts and timetable grids fill the screen edge to edge. At 139 kg with an internally locked ballasted base, it stands securely in exposed forecourts and platform environments without permanent anchoring. The panel sits behind 5 mm AG etched tempered glass, sealed to IP66 against rain, dust and insects, with a -20 °C to +60 °C operating range for year-round duty. Standard safeguards cover three-stage lightning suppression, residual-current monitoring and an IP67-rated power supply. Android and X86 platforms are both offered, and touch, camera, 4G or a full CMS can be added.
