Rhubarb 'Red Champagne' Bare Root Crowns

Rhubarb 'Red Champagne' is a highly sought-after heritage variety celebrated for producing remarkably long, bright pink stems with an exceptionally sweet flavour profile. Renowned as one of the best cultivars for early forcing, this reliable perennial vegetable provides an incredibly early, tender crop that is widely considered a true delicacy for baking and preserving. The massive, deeply veined green leaves add fantastic structural and architectural volume to kitchen gardens, making it both a highly productive and visually striking addition to your outdoor space. Planting soon after arrival is recommended. This will revitalise the crowns, promoting new growth ahead of their upcoming growing season. You can place them in pots, planters, containers or in bedding and more. Situate them in an open, sunny spot of the garden at intervals of 75cm. Maintain fertile, moist and well-drained soil, whilst keeping them well watered in Spring and Summer.
