For optimal performance and accuracy, we recommend wearing the RingConn Smart Rings on the index finger. This finger is typically chosen due to its stronger arterial blood flow, which can enhance measurement accuracy. However, the RingConn Smart Rings provides consistent accuracy whether worn on the index, middle, or ring finger. What makes the RingConn Gen 2 different from the RingConn Gen 2 Air? Gen 2 includes automatic sleep apnea monitoring in addition to Gen 2 Air capabilities and features, a slightly longer battery life (10–12 days), and is marketed as the thinnest and lightest smart ring (2–3g).Gen 2 Air introduces AI-powered health insights and multi-dimensional health monitoring, with a weight starting at 2.5g and up to 10 days of battery life. Do both RingConn Gen 2 and RingConn Gen 2 Air track sleep? Yes, both track sleep. However, Gen 2 offers automatic sleep apnea monitoring, while Gen 2 Air does not. Are the RingConn Gen 2 and RingConn Gen 2 Air made from the same materials? Gen 2 is made from titanium alloy. Titanium alloys are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. Gen 2 Air is made from titanium steel. Both are strong and lightweight, but the alloy may be slightly lighter and more premium. Is the RingConn Gen 2 capable of monitoring nap? Whether you're settling in for the night or catching a quick nap, it keeps track of your sleep patterns, including monitoring sleep apnea. It accurately measures your time spent in REM, Light, and Deep sleep stages, and can detect interruptions in breathing indicative of sleep apnea. Additionally, RingConn Gen 2 continuously monitors your Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2), a crucial metric that many other smart wearables do not track. Can I wear the RingConn Gen 2 during workouts? Yes, the RingConn Gen 2 is made from lightweight and durable titanium, making it suitable for activities such as running, cycling, and yoga. It also has an IP68 waterproof rating, so it can withstand sweat and water exposure. However, like many other materials, it may be scratched if it comes into contact with surfaces harder than the ring. How do I transfer data when using a new RingConn Gen 2? Each RingConn account supports pairing with only one ring at a time. To keep both historical and future data from your old ring in the same account, you will need to unpair the old ring before pairing the new one. Alternatively, you can create a separate account for the new ring. To avoid potential data loss caused by frequent switching between devices, we strongly recommend using separate devices for daily logins and data synchronization (e.g., using a different phone or tablet). Do you offer warranty? Yes, RingConn smart rings come with a standard 1-year warranty and 7 days replacement against manufacturing defects. This warranty generally covers hardware issues and doesn't extend to damage from accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
