Kunlun Mutton-Fat Nephrite Pixiu 羊脂白玉貔貅

There is a particular refinement to the finest mutton-fat nephrite: not merely white, but a warm, creamy white with the softness of condensed milk and the gentle luminosity of fine jade held to the light. Evoking the prized jade tradition associated with the Kunlun Mountains, this curled-up Pixiu possesses that coveted balance of a dense, velvety body and delicate translucency, allowing light to move softly through its pale, almost buttery-white form. The natural seed jade’s outer skin—adds a discreet signature of nature, a warm contrast against the precious whiteness of the stone. No two patterns are quite alike; here, the skin lends individuality without disturbing the pendant’s restrained elegance. The Pixiu rests curled inward, its mythical strength contained rather than displayed. Traditionally treasured as an auspicious guardian of wealth and protection, it is rendered here with an understated sophistication that rewards close appreciation. This is jade for the collector who understands that true luxury need not announce itself: it resides in the quality of the colour, the subtle passage of light, and the rare harmony between natural material and accomplished carving.
