TERMINATOR DARK FATE | PARAMOUNT PICTURES

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE / ILLUSTRATED BILLBOARD / MIAMI / 2019 Commissioned by Paramount Pictures, artist Jose Mertz / Tigers N Torches created a large-scale illustrated campaign artwork for Terminator: Dark Fate. The piece reinterpreted key characters and imagery from the film through a bold graphic illustration style designed to hold up at monumental scale. The final artwork was produced as a massive outdoor banner and installed prominently along I-95 in Miami, giving the campaign a highly visible presence within one of the city’s busiest traffic corridors. Built for long-distance viewing, the composition combined character portraiture, explosive color, halftone textures, and high-contrast graphic elements to create an image that could read quickly and powerfully from the highway. The installation received exposure to more than one million daily viewers, extending the artwork beyond traditional entertainment advertising into a large-scale public visual experience.
