Light enough to forget, shaped to keep you focused The FOCUS CAP is a running cap built around two things: a weight you stop noticing while you run, and a brim shape that blocks sun without crowding your field of view. It weighs just 26 g. A long brim catches the wind; a short one fails to keep the sun off. HERENESS worked through that trade-off from several angles and settled on 4.8 cm — enough shade over the eyes while staying easy to live with in a headwind. A structure that serves airflow and low weight Four of the five panels are punched with ventilation holes, letting the heat and moisture that build up while running escape more readily. The perforation does double duty: it keeps air moving and it takes weight out of the cap. That makes it easy to reach for in sweaty conditions or on long runs where you would rather not trap humidity against your head. Material choices and sustainability The body is 100% polyester, 57% of which is recycled polyester. HERENESS is open that it is still searching for materials that would let it move to 100% recycled content without giving up quality. The sweatband is 55% cotton and 45% rayon, a combination chosen with next-to-skin feel and sweat handling in mind. Size and fit One size. Head circumference measures about 58 cm as delivered and adjusts up to 64 cm. That range makes it straightforward to dial in a fit that stays put when you move, and to adapt it to your running intensity, your hair, or the layers you wear through the seasons. Everyday care Care is simple. Place the cap in a laundry net and machine wash with a neutral detergent. Do not tumble dry. If you iron it, use a low setting and a pressing cloth.
