Red Building

Red Building is a building print drawn in fine cream lines on a deep red panel, a bold piece of Bauhaus architecture in poster form. A tall stair tower with a grid of small windows rises on the left, a slim vertical sign beside it spells BAUHAUS in cream capitals, and the main block to the right carries three long bands of windows above a row of five small ones, with a black entrance canopy and black steps at the foot. BAUHAUS heads the poster in a bold display face, with AUSSTELLUNG and JULI-SEPT 1923 at the top right and a fine black rule beneath, all on warm cream. Graphic, warm and full of character, this building print suits a home office, hallway, living room or studio, and it is a lovely gift for anyone who loves modernist design and the classic Bauhaus building look. Brick red and cream sit well with walnut, black metal, terracotta and leather. Printed on premium matte paper, it gives deep, flat colour with a smooth, non-reflective finish, and it arrives unframed to fit standard frame sizes. Part of our Ausstellung series, this building print pairs with Blue Building, a cream building on blue, for a striking red and blue pair.
