Antique Amish Quilt - 70" x 84"

c. 1925, Holmes County, Ohio. Twenty clusters of cobalt blue stars set against an ashy black ground, framed by a blue inner border and wide dark band. Densely hand-quilted with feather and wreath motifs. Tiny stitches add a second layer of pattern depth to an otherwise spare composition. Faded pale icy blue backing fabric. Solid condition throughout, with no notable issues, a very usable quilt. Previously prepared for hanging, with Velcro that can be used as is or removed.
