Midcentury Mermaid Wall Plaques with Bubbles

Another midcentury holy grail! The midcentury mermaid wall plaques are complete with bubbles. The ceramic mom mermaid and her daughter, float along on your bathroom wall. The ceramic pieces are attributed to a Japanese ceramic import firm, then painted and signed by ceramic artist, R. Kerr. The pieces feature an exceptionally high quality finish. The facial painting is clean and precise, and the mother-of-pearl iridescent luster glaze was expertly applied and makes their scales sparkle! There are two mermaids and three bubbles in very good vintage condition with petal chipping on the tiny flowers, with hanging holes on each piece. Amazing for their age and fragility. The mama mermaid measures approximately 7 5/8" x 3 3/8", her daughter measures approximately 4 7/8" x 3 1/8", the bubbles measure approximately 1 7/8", 1 3/8" , and 1". Perfect for the mermaid collector or the mid century bath decor!
