Brush Pattern 5.5-Inch Shallow Bowl - Crafted By Takuya Ohara

Glazed and fired by hand, this bowl carries the quiet character of something made individually — the surface not perfectly uniform, the form shaped by a hand rather than a machine. It holds heat well, sits well on any table, and improves with daily use. Takuya Ohara works in Shiga, Japan, forming and glazing each bowl by hand. The rim is shaped individually, the surface finished with the table in mind — a bowl built to hold food well and to sit easily among others. Japanese ceramics have been treasured across the world for generations, and a piece like this brings that living tradition to your own table. Hand-glazed Japanese pottery Material: Pottery (ceramic) Made in Shiga, Japan Artisan: Takuya Ohara Size: 16.2 × 5.5 cm (6.4 × 2.2 in) Because each piece is individually made, slight variations in form and glaze are the mark of a true handmade object.
