Yellow Moon

Platycerium willinckii ‘Yellow Moon’ is a named staghorn fern with the cascading fertile fronds and basal shields typical of willinckii. Its name suggests a colour story, but the plant should be described as it actually appears rather than promised as golden or yellow-green. Fine hairs can soften the fronds’ surface and help give this group its silvery look. P. willinckii is an epiphytic fern, naturally growing attached to a support. This selection brings shape and movement without having to impersonate a highlighter. The moon can keep its name. It does not owe anyone a particular shade.
