pisces card wallet / fig

The Pisces Card Wallet carries the name of the collection because its shape felt the most Pisces of them all. I made Pisces during a really low time, when my moods were like water, flowing every which way. The bottom edge of the wallet is a wave, and an uneven one, like the uneven magnets on the Bay Bag. A card wallet is such a simple, functional thing that it needed a bit of whimsy. Fig is named for the fig tree in our backyard growing up, and the fresh figs that were a treat whenever it fruited. The colour itself is closer to a marinated Sicilian olive. A deeper, dirtier green than matcha.
