Three Sharks Dangle Earrings in Sterling Silver and Enamel

Three smiley happy sharks! These sterling silver and enamel, high end and beautifully crafted earrings measure about 3/4 of an inch tall and hang from solid sterling French ear wires. Complete the set with the matching necklace. And there's more sharks to see! Or maybe you are interested in more ocean themed gifts! I carved the sterling silver setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. The setting then gets a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps.
