Can it hang from a sloped or vaulted ceiling?Yes. It works on flat and sloped ceilings, and the cord lets the light hang straight down. How long is the cord, and can I shorten it?The cord is 59″ (150 cm) and is adjusted to your preferred height during installation. Most dining and island setups hang the light 30–36″ above the surface. Is the walnut real wood?Yes, the ring is solid walnut. Grain and tone vary naturally, so every ring is slightly different. The tiers, canopy and cord come in white or black painted metal. How is it installed and cleaned?It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and works with your wall switch; we recommend a licensed electrician. To clean, switch off, let it cool and wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep water and sprays off the walnut.
