Platystele ingridiana Culture Platystele ingridiana is an orchid species of the genus Platystele, grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. It grows best in intermediate-warm conditions. Light: Bright, indirect light, out of direct midday sun. Temperature: Day temperatures of 22-30 °C (72-86 °F) with cooler nights of 18-22 °C (64-72 °F) suit it best. Humidity: Moderate to high humidity (50-70%) with good air circulation helps keep the foliage healthy and prevents fungal problems. Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months. Additional notes: Grown from our own stock at Ecuagenera. Plants are shipped bare-root with a phytosanitary certificate.
