One Time Pottery Wheel Classes- Tumbler Cup - July 25th 10am-12pm (Saturday)

In this single session, you'll learn the fundamentals of centering and throwing on the wheel and create a finished tumbler cup. What You'll Learn You'll be guided through, centering on the wheel, opening the base, and pulling up walls to create a cup shape. We'll cover how to refine your form and release your piece cleanly from the wheel. No experience is needed and every step will be demonstrated before you try it yourself. What's Included All clay, tools, and wheel time are provided. Your instructor will guide you through every stage of the process. Once your piece has been fired, you're invited to our monthly group glazing session to finish and personalize your vase. You'll be notified when your glazed piece is ready for pickup, or you can arrange shipping during class. Who This Is For This class is for complete beginners and curious returners alike. If you've always wanted to try the wheel or just want a fun, hands-on afternoon, this is the place to start. What to Wear Wear clothing and shoes you're comfortable getting clay and water on. Aprons are provided, but clay has a way of finding everything anyway.
