Oconee Pecan (Carya illinoinensis) produces large, sweet pecans with thin shells, typically harvested in late fall. It is a vigorous, spreading tree that reaches a mature height of 70-100 feet with a spread of 40-75 feet, ideal for orchards and home gardens.
