Description Details Directions #2 Fine filter pads for Buon Vino Super Jet filter. The #2 pad removes small to medium particulate from wine down to 1.8 microns in size. It should be used after using the #1 coarse filter pad or after 2 - 3 months of age. Filter Pad Type: #2 Fine Micron Size: 1.8 Overall Width: 7-7/8in (200mm) Overall Height: 7-7/8in (200mm) Thickness: 3/16in (4.8mm) 1. Filter wine after any fining agents have been used and have fully settled out of the wine. 2. For best results, wine should be filtered after 2 - 3 months of age and after being stored in a cold location. After this time, wine can be filtered starting with the #2 fine filter pad followed by the #3 sterile filter pad after. Wait 2 - 4 days between filtrations. 3. When filtering young wine less than 30 days old, begin filtering with the #1 coarse filter pad, followed by the #2 fine filter pad and then the #3 sterile filter pad (if desired). Wait 2 - 4 days between filtrations. 4. Allow wine to rest for 2 - 4 days after filtration before bottling.
