Our 19mm aluminium cages provide added strength compared to our standard range, while still being lightweight, rust-resistant, and easy to handle. Designed for durability and long-lasting performance, they are perfect for safeguarding fruit and vegetable patches in harsher conditions. Netting options for your cage Select the netting best suited to your crops: Bird netting – protects fruit from birds. Butterfly netting – helps prevent damage from cabbage white butterflies. Veggiemesh – protects against smaller insects and pests. No netting – choose this option if you already have your own cover. The covers are not permanently fitted, allowing easy access when planting, weeding, or harvesting. Important information If snow or strong winds are forecast, we recommend removing the netting. The kits include aluminium tubing, joiners, netting, steel pegs, clips, and full instructions. If the No Netting option is selected, clips and pegs are not included. The legs measure 1.85m in length and should be inserted approximately 300mm into the ground, giving the cage an assembled height of around 1.5m.
