Marking your dovetail pins and tails can be a laborious task if you do not have a well designed marker. My Dovetail Marker is designed for marking both through and half-blind dovetails. My Dovetail Marker enables you to quickly, accurately, and repeatedly layout your tails. Made from a solid piece of wood, it fits and feels great in your hand. Allows you to lay out the angle cut and its associated straight cut without re-positioning the marker. Has 1:6 and 1:7 angled vertical faces and a 90 degree horizontal face. 1:6 is the traditional angle for softwoods and 1:7 is the traditional angle for hardwoods. Shipping box doubles as a handy storage container to keep it from getting beat up in your tool box.
