2026 Philly Takeover

Philadelphia is not for the weak. Their fans are loud. Aggressive. Slightly unhinged. They boo Santa Claus, throw batteries, and genuinely believe nobody likes us and we don’t care. Honestly? Respect. Zack’s three year stint watching Eagles fans tailgate was part of the motivation behind creating the Roaring Riot. So we’re rolling into Philly for one of the wildest sports weekends we’ve ever put together: TWO Charlotte teams. ONE weekend. ALL chaos. That’s right - before the Panthers take on the Eagles on Sunday, we’re heading to a Charlotte FC match together on Saturday as part of a full-blown Carolina sports takeover weekend. Expect tailgates, chants, beer, trash talk, and enough black and blue in Philly to make Eagles fans notice (for better or worse - safety in numbers) We’ll be staying right in downtown Philadelphia within walking distance of our Friday Welcoming Party, bars, and restaurants. Don’t worry, before the FC game you’ll have time to visit your favorite Philly cheesesteak location and be a part of the debate on which is best. Pro Tip: Jim’s is the best And then there’s Sunday. We’ll kick off game day with a Roaring Riot tailgate at Xfinity Live before marching into Lincoln Financial Field together to take on one of the loudest environments in the NFL. And Panthers fans already know what can happen in Philly. Last time we came here, Cam Newton and the Panthers erased a 17-point deficit and walked out with a win while Eagles fans completely lost their minds. Classic! Now we’re back for more. Philadelphia may be hostile territory. But it gets a whole lot less hostile when the Riot rolls into town together.
