Storage & Heating Instructions (Frozen Products) – Click to expand 1. Storage Keep frozen:Place all items in the freezer as soon as your order arrives. For best flavor and quality, enjoy each item before the “best by” date on its package. 2. Chicken Essence Take 1 frozen pouch from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 1–2 minutes. Without opening the pouch, place it into a pot of gently boiling water. Heat over medium-low for about 3–5 minutes. Carefully remove, cut open, and pour into a cup. Enjoy warm for the best aroma and mouthfeel. Microwaving and cold/room-temperature drinking are not recommended, as they may affect texture and overall experience. 3. Soups & Broths (Braised Beef Soup, Golden Chicken Broth / Golden Chicken Broth with Drumsticks, Beef Bone Broth) Stovetop: 1) Thaw slightly until you can cut open the pouch. 2) Pour contents into a pot. For broth bases, you may add water and extra ingredients (meat, tofu, veggies, noodles) as desired. 3) Heat over medium to medium-low until the soup comes to a full simmer and is hot throughout. 4) Serve as-is, or use as the base for noodle soup, hotpot, or congee. Rice cooker:Pour contents into a heat-safe bowl, cover, and place in the cooker. Add ½–1 cup of water to the outer pot, turn on, and let it heat until hot, then rest a few minutes before serving. 4. Braises & Ready-to-Serve Dishes (Braised Pork Belly, Braised Minced Meat, Braised Beef Tendon, Braised Napa Cabbage) Remove from the freezer and thaw just enough to open the pouch. Stovetop:Pour into a small pot and heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce gently bubbles and everything is fully hot. Rice cooker:Pour into a heat-safe bowl, cover, place in cooker with ½ cup of water in the outer pot, heat until it switches to “warm,” then rest a few minutes. Serving ideas: – Braised Minced Meat & Braised Pork Belly: perfect over rice, noodles, or vegetables. – Braised Beef Tendon: great as a side dish or added into Braised Beef Soup. – Braised Napa Cabbage: works as a main side dish, or tossed with noodles or glass noodles. Tip:Every stove and appliance is a bit different. For your first time, keep an eye on heating, then adjust time and heat level to your own preference. We don’t recommend heating the pouches directly in the microwave, as it can cause uneven heating and affect texture.
