Night Feed 02 reflects on the suspended emotional space of early motherhood in the hours that exist outside ordinary time. Created through layered gesture, colour and movement, the work explores themes of exhaustion, intimacy, identity and devotion, capturing the quiet psychological shifts that occur within repetitive acts of care. Balancing tenderness with tension, the painting speaks to the complex inner life that continues to unfold beneath the surface of motherhood.
