Stainless Steel Security Cable
Promore Products Stainless Steel Security Cable Stop opportunistic theft at your campsite with the Promore Products Stainless Steel Security Cable. Most caravan park theft isn't a determined crook with bolt cutters, it's someone walking past who sees an unsecured BBQ or chair and helps themselves. This cable turns your gear into a job that's not worth the effort. Built from hardened stainless steel in a 7 x 19 multicore configuration with a 4mm overall diameter, the cable is tough to cut and stands up to coastal salt, dust, and full sun without rusting or staining. Large pre-formed loops on each end take any standard padlock, so there's no clamps or knots to fuss with. Thread it through your gear and padlock the two loops together for a closed loop, or feed the free end through one loop for a choke hitch around a drawbar or post and padlock the other end to a secure point. Available in five lengths to suit anything from a single spare tyre to a full caravan site. Inclusions 1x Stainless Steel Security Cable (in your chosen length). Which length do I need? The right length depends on how much gear you want to secure and where. 2m: Single item, spare tyre, or dual-axle wheel lock. 5m: BBQ, table and chairs together. 10m: Full campsite gear. 15m: Larger sites with generator and jerry cans. 20m: Big rigs, group camps or rallies. Installation Use whichever method suits your setup. Closed loop method (best for short runs and single items): Thread the cable through your gear (BBQ handles, chair frames, table legs, jerry can holders, or anything else you want to keep). Wrap the cable around a fixed point on your caravan (drawbar, A-frame, or tow point). Pass a standard padlock through both end loops and click it shut. Choke hitch method (best for long runs where the two ends don't meet): Wrap one end of the cable around your anchor point (drawbar, A-frame, post, or tree). Feed the free end of the cable through the loop on the wrapped end and pull tight to choke the cable to the anchor. Thread the free end through your gear. Pass a standard padlock through the free loop and lock it to another secure point. Specifications and Features Hardened stainless steel construction.
