Stalactitic Quartz and Calcite Geode

A gorgeous glittering geode absolutely packed with crystals! This incredible specimen of Quartz and Calcite crystals comes from Morocco. Known as a stalactitic formation, the Quartz crystals formed into elongated shapes similar to stalactites and stalagmites found in caves. A captivating layer of drusy Quartz crystals adds extra sparkle to a secondary formation of large Calcite crystals, which have a gorgeous reddish orange hue created by iron inclusions.
